The color used is the common color for business site. The site are using a professional business templates, and the design of the templates is well enough.
Considering about the the site navigation, i think all the link in the top of the site should be designed as a banner link. The top navigation link at allenbarron.com now is looked like an ads of google adsense ads. i think it will be so perfect if the navigation link above is designed using an effect of java script
